Cayman Islands

Natalie and I spent Monday and Tuesday at Universal and Islands of adventure! It was a blast as always! We spend all day riding rides! Tuesday night, Rick Linda, Rhea Geofrey (there kids) and Natalie and Hyatt, went to the airport hotel to be ready for our early morning flight to the Cayman's!

When we got there it was very hot, but I could already see the Chrystal blue water! We stayed at the Ritz Carelton which was a real treat! Our part of the hotel was right on the ocean so we had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool! The first thing Natalie and I did was go straight to the pool! We had lunch and played for hours. We made our way to the beach a little while after which was very nice. The water was perfectly clear with super white sand!

The next day Natalie and I went horse back riding on the beach, and wow that was amazing!! Natalie and I have always shared a love for horses and so it was a very wonderful experience to be able to ride horses on the beach. Of course it was a trail ride to insure safety which was fine with us. However when one of the men that owned the place found out we knew how to ride horses, he let Natalie and I gallop. And I mean gallop!!! We rode those horses as fast as we could at least a mile and half, a couple of times! It was such a thrill! We were also able to ride the horses in the water which was just beautiful. It was an amazing experience and I really am grateful for it. This world is truly a beautiful creation and I feel blessed to be able to visit some of the beautiful places Jesus Christ created for me.

Friday the family rented a very nice...large boat, for the day. It was so much fun just riding in the boat. We were pleased that it was private for just us that day so that we could enjoy everything on our own time. Our first stop was sting ray city. Which is literally just out in the middle of the ocean were a lot of sting rays like to hang out. I was amazed when we arrived and I saw numerous sting rays EVERYWHERE! They were so many of them, weighing over 80 poulnds! The craziest thing was that they were wild. This was not a zoo, or anything of the sort. This was the ocean. Our captain told us that the sting rays are used to people comming, and that if they wanted to leave the sting rays can swim up to 40 miles per hour. I was a little nervous at first but as soon as one came up to me, I felt okay. It was a lot of fun. Later on in the day we jumped off of the rope swing at the top of the boat, and rode in the hammock. Listened to music and enjoyed eachothers company, it was a wonderful day.

Saturday we did a little bit of shopping, and then went to play in the ocean! Natalie and I went paddle surfing, and laid out in the floats. That night we babysat the kids, which was a lot of fun. We took them to a movie, and to dinner, and to go night swimming, while the parents went out to a fancy dinner.

Look at all those stingrays swimming around our feet!

I jumped off the top of the boat..not the best picture but thats ok!

Good Ol' Country Fun

 Our gangster ducktape hats!
Hanging out in the RV :)
Playing just dance on the Xbox motion

 "She's Country..."
Okay they sell these "apples" in all flavors, bubble gum, grape, tropical blast etc etc. Kind of freaked me out!
On the way to the lake!
Tuesday I went and saw my Grandma and my GiGi (great grandma) for the morning/afternoon. We caught up on the time we missed and went to lunch at a very cute and delicious cafe at an old victorian home called the "The Blakely House". Then I met up with my friends the brantleys! We talked and did a little bit of shopping. We hung out with Jessica's cousins, and friend. We went to the park, and to Tractor Supply and hung out at the house. The girls and I slept in the RV at night..not sure why, just for fun I suppose!

On wed. the next day...Linda let us all come over to her lake house and let us drive the Jet Skis and go tubing and wake skating! We had so.much.fun! We were out on the water for about four and a half hours. It was great catching up with my friends and spending time on the lake.

Summer has begun!

I managed to make it through the airport and to Florida! I was a little nervous to fly alone. Flying from one country to another is a little bit tricky! I made it though, safe and sound. Waiting for me was Rick and it was an emotional meeting. Its been a year since I have been gone and its a great feeling to be back to visit.

The girls had been at Girls Camp all week, and came back on Saturday morning. But we still made time to have lots of fun that day too! Natalie and I went to the lake house, and drove the Jet Ski's and then Rick pulled us on the tube, and Natalie and I were back to being the same adventurous girls as always! We played just dance on the X-Box motion thing. We got our eyebrows done, and got manicures and pedicures. It sure was a fun day, but above all else, it was nice just to spend time with my best friends.

Sunday was only even more emotional because I saw everyone from my home ward. It was so great to see all of their smiling faces, and loving embraces. The ward really has grown and its wonderful to see. I was so proud to see the young women and how far they have come. I really do love them all.

 we took some funny pictures!

 Good old Dr. Quin :)

Natalie and I watched some good old Dr. Quin, and rested today. Linda and I went on a nice walk with the dog and caught up a bit. More fun time are to come. Cant wait :)

Weekend fun

(good old photobooth)
This past weekend I spent with my 3 best girl friends, at the Costas house. We all went to dance rehearsals together and then went out to eat and to Camilas house. We stayed up till about two in the morning just talking about life...and of course in spanish, which is always fun. Sunday we managed to wake up, and headed of to church. Afterwords the 4 of use made lunch for the family, and watched the 3 muskateers. I love spending time with them, the Costas are like my family, we all get a long great. Zeqi is my like my little brother, him and I are dance partners, and we made it lots of fun on Saturday. Im going to miss everyone during the summer!

Senior prank day

They had to clean up afterwords.
7:15 in the morning..chilling with the seniors since i managed to make my way through the webs. (they were tired)
Insane huh? Thats not even half of it...image having to climb down the stairs with that.
My friend Maile and I get to school at around 7:10 every morning because we go straight there after seminary. My good friends warned me ahead of time about the "Senior Pranks" but I honestly didnt think the seniors would carry through with it, nor would they make it a big deal. Well I was wrong.....they did make it a big deal. Maile and I were greated with nice cold water baloons, and shaving cream. The seniors blocked of EVERY entrance, and I mean EVERY entrance, and so you had to go through the main doors, where all 60 of them were standing. They got to the school at 4 o clock in the morning to make it into a giant spider web, so that they could watch people climb through. They put zip ties on all the lockers. They stole the mouses from all the teachers room, and locked some of the rooms from the inside out. The took out all the tables and chairs and stacked them in the hallways. Throughout the day they threw waterballoons, and baloons filled with ketchup...yes. Ketchup. Needless to say it was a crazy day. I had a lot of fun though. Sure I was covered in water (in the cold) and shaving cream. I had to crawl through the webs by myself in front of all of them..but it was so funny. I cant wait till im a senior...its going to be great ;)

Autumn day with Maile!

Maile and I have really become good friends over the past couple of months. We have a couple of classes at school together, and we go to seminary together every morning, and then we go to school to study. On the weekends we go out to dinner, or to the movies, or to dances. We laugh so hard when we are together, and always have things to talk about. She is a great example to me, and im greatfull to have her as such a good friend.

On Friday her and I had a GNO and went to Kansas to enjoy some good pasta!! We had a great talk and I enjoyed her company after a hard day at school. This Saturday we had New Beginnings, and afterwords we went back to her house. We wanted to go for a bike ride, but there was only her younger sisters bikes. Well us being sooooo cool, decided we would ride them anyways. One of them even had a flat tire, but her and I pushed through it. We laughed so hard, and im sure the passing people thought we were crazy! We then went to the big tree in the middle of the neighborhood and climbed it! It has been a long time since I have been so adventurous. We sat and climbed the tree, and listened and sang to country music like always!

 Just that cool.

 I climbed the tree!!
Beautiful Autumn day in Sani Sidro Chico!
 Little bikes...

 CrAzY HaIr!!

Juan my Remis driver is sooo cool, he always plays the music super loud and dances and sings along with us!

 Subway!!!
(the lady yelled at us afterwords for taking pictures in the stoor...whoopss!)
Yeah..theres a barbie store, and is ALWAYS full!

Afterwords we went to go see The Avengers at Unicenter. We ate Subway because we were missing it! Then went to freddos and got an icecream, and found a sweet surprise when we saw that they had put M&Ms in the bottom of the cone! We walked around the mall, got tired, sat on a bench, got up kept walking, got tired sat down again, and then decided to wait in the food court right before the movie. We had been at the mall for like 4 or 5 hours and it was a long day! We finally got into the movie at 8, and saw some friends from school. We loved the movie, and on the way home almost fell asleep in the remis because we were so tired. It was a great weekend, im so happy to have such good friends from church here. Anyone who knows me, knows that friends mean the world to me!!

Baptism in Catan

I like to go with my parents to the Stake conferences in the variouse zones. I like to meet people and say hello to the Elders. I especially love the Catan zone. The people are so kind and sweet (as they are everywhere). The conference was the best one I have been to since we moved here, it was so good. Afterwords we went to a baptism for some Elders in the zone. There was this little girl that was the cutest thing ever. She had just turned 8 the day before and she couldnt have been more happy to be baptized. Before and after she had the sweetest smile on her face, and it just filled my heart with joy to see the happiness that she had for this special moment. I braided her hair before she went in, and she was so excited. I loved having a little part in her babtism. It was such a sweet family. Another set of elders baptized an older woman, that even at her old age was able to dip down into the waters of baptism...its never too late. During her confirmation she was whispering "Gloria, gloria" "Gracias Dios" and even though it was a little strange to hear someone talk during a prayer, but she was expressing her love and gratefullness and her intentions were pure. I am so happy for both familys, they are blessed with good elders!

Words from the wise

What a good conference talk by President Uchtdorf. I love this, and I think it is especially imporant in this day in age.

Sophmore Year

As my sophmore year comes to an end, I cant help but reflect back on some pictures of some good times. I am really blessed to have such amazing friends. The sophmores have been known to be the most spirited and united grade. All of us are always together, during breaks, during lunch, on weekends, at parties etc. Whenever we have spirit week competitions we win, which is so much fun. We dont participate in order to win, we just do it because we want to have fun! Because this year was my first year at Lincoln, I was worried it would take a while to adjust, but everyone was so nice to me and it only took a couple of days. Some of my sophmore friends will be leaving, but some of my good friends will be with me till the end!
